A jackpot bet is placed from the Jackpot tab on the site or app, or by SMS at SportPesa and Betika, and the slip must be paid before the card’s opening fixture kicks off:

Each card limits how far one slip can spread. Betika allows up to five double-chance picks on a Midweek ticket, Betgr8 stops at 32 combinations per draw and BonusBet at 6 jackpot bets a day. The SportPesa betting guide covers registration and the SMS format for ordinary slips.

Winning a 17 game jackpot means calling all 17 results right, and with three outcomes per match there are 129,140,163 possible slips. A 13-game card has 1,594,323 and a 10-game card 59,049, so every match removed from a card cuts the field of possible slips by two thirds.

No pattern, tip or app changes those counts. Each double you add covers one more outcome on a match and doubles the cost of the slip.

SportPesa’s How to Play page allows doubles on up to 10 of the 17 games, and even the full 1,024 lines leave seven matches resting on single picks. The pools for 13 to 16 correct pay slips that fall short of 17, so set the slip total at the amount you are ready to lose and leave it there.

Jackpot bonuses pay slips that miss the top prize by one or more results, and the tiers differ from card to card. Betika pays bonuses for 12, 13 and 14 correct on its Midweek card under the Midweek Jackpot rules, and SportPesa’s midweek round pays for 10, 11 and 12.

Postponed matches shrink the prizes.

Mozzartbet settles one to three postponed games at odds of 1.00 and cuts the top prize, so 15 correct with one game off pays KSh 6,000,000.

SportyBet pays 30% of the top prize for 13 correct when one match is void and does not restart within 48 hours, with 40% of the second prize for 12 and 50% of the third for 11.

Betgr8 resolves a single cancelled match by a public draw after 72 hours, and two or more cancellations can void its round. On short cards the bonus line sits close to the top: BonusBet pays for 7 of 9, Odibets for 8 of 10.

Pick a card with bonus tiers well below the top line, such as SportPesa’s midweek card from 10 of 13 correct, if regular small returns matter more to you than the top prize.

The highest payout a Kenyan betting app allows on ordinary slips is set in its terms, and the caps run per bet, per day or over several days. Jackpot prizes follow their own rules, and MSport’s jackpot payout has no upper limit.

SportPesa pays any win above the mobile money limit by bank transfer, so a seven-figure payout lands in a bank account rather than on M-Pesa.

Every win is paid after a 20% withholding tax under the Income Tax Act, worked out on the payout minus the stake, so a profit of KSh 10,000 loses KSh 2,000.
