Meaning
What does cash out mean in betting?
Cash out in betting means closing a running bet before its matches end and taking the amount the bookmaker offers at that moment, which is less than the full potential win.
Betgr8’s rules put it plainly: a cash out closes the bet early, and a partial cash out closes part of the stake while the rest keeps riding on the result.
The offer moves with the game. Chezacash bases it on the live odds at the time you press the button, so the same slip pays more when your team scores and less when it concedes.
Once accepted, the cash out settles the bet immediately, and the final score has no effect on what you were paid. A KSh 500 multibet cashed out early stays at the cashed-out amount even if every leg later wins.

22Bet puts cash out in its Android app, next to booking codes for sharing a betslip. Nuntis Holdings Limited publishes that app on Google Play. A cashed-out balance leaves by the method you deposited with, so an M-Pesa top-up means an M-Pesa payout.

Melbet’s Accumulator Booster lifts the total odds of slips with four or more legs, but a boosted slip cannot be cashed out.
Betgr8 excludes freebet stakes from every type of cash out, and a cashed-out bet adds nothing to the turnover needed to clear a bonus.

When to cash out a multibet

How much will I get if I cash out?
The amount on the button is calculated from the live odds when you accept it, so it rises when your selections are winning and falls when they are losing. Betgr8's rules state that the figure shown is exactly what returns to your balance if the request succeeds.
Can I cancel a cash out?
No. At Betgr8 a cash out or partial cash out cannot be cancelled once it is accepted, and the bet is settled straight away. Choose the full or partial amount carefully before you confirm, because a cashed-out slip will not come back if the remaining legs later win.
What is auto cash out?
Auto cash out closes your bet by itself once its cash out value reaches a figure you set in advance. Betgr8 offers it next to full and partial cash out. If the value never reaches your figure, the bet simply runs to the final whistle and settles on the result.
Why is cash out not available on my bet?
Betgr8's rules say a request fails when the price changes or the market is suspended, and markets can be removed from the cash out offer at any time. Betgr8 also excludes free bet stakes, and Mozzart Bet offers cash out on live tickets only, so a pre-match Mozzart ticket has no cash out at all.
Does SportPesa have cash out?
Yes. SportPesa's app lists Instant Cash Out, and its terms limit cash out to pre-match bets that were not placed with bonus funds. X-Up early payout works on selected markets. Cashed-out money goes to the same SportPesa balance and is withdrawn like any other win.
